Amitabh Bachchan has been a part of Bollywood for more than four decades and has seen several changes in the industry. Sharing the most noted change in films, Bachchan says, “They are no longer films, so I don’t know whether we should refer to this industry as the film industry anymore. It is all digital. As an artiste, we were so conscious of not wasting film reel, because it was the most expensive product. So we were terribly conscious to complete the scenes in one take. But now the camera doesn’t stop and the producer doesn’t care, as everything has gone digital!” This, Bachchan says, is an advantage, which helps them in improvisation of any scene.
