As Dilip Kumar breathed his last this morning, Bollywood stars paid their tributes to the late actor. Shah Rukh Khan was among the first ones to reach out to Kumar’s wife, Saira Banu at the latter’s place. He was seen consoling the inconsolable Banu sitting next to the mortal remains of her husband. Amitabh Bachchan reached the Juhu Qabrastan, where Dilip Kumar, aka Yusuf Khan, was buried. Bachchan also said, “An institution has gone. Whenever the history of Indian cinema will be written, it shall always be ‘before Dilip Kumar, and after Dilip Kumar’. My duas for peace of his soul and the strength to the family to bear this loss. I’m deeply saddened,” before heading to the burial ground. Known as Tragedy King of Bollywood, Dilip Kumar acted in less than 100 films but gave many gems like ‘Mughal-e-Azam’, ‘Naya Daur’, ‘Madhumati’ and ‘Ganga Jamuna’.
