Deepika Padukone braved everything to come out in the open and talk about her extreme depression a few years ago. The actress / producer informed everyone what she had gone through during her earlier years and how she overcame mental illness. Since she defeated the weakness as a fighter, the celebrity was invited by the World Health Organisation (WHO) to talk on the subject. But that may not happen anytime soon. “I regret to inform that due to unforeseen and highly unavoidable circumstances, the conversation ‘Prioritising Mental Health During The Pandemic And Beyond’ between Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director General, WHO and I, scheduled for April 23, 2020 has been put on hold until further notice,” informed Deepika. Due to Covid-19 pandemic the session is postponed indefinitely.
