Dev Patel’s The Man Who Knew Infinity To Be Screened At Tribeca Film Festival

After taking several prestigious international film festivals by storm, the much-acclaimed British film The Man Who Knew Infinity is all set to illumine the screens at the Tribeca Film Festival 2016, which will be held from April 13 to April 24in New York.

The executive producer of the film, Mrs. Swati Bhise announced the good news on Facebook writing, “Excited to announce that our film The Man Who Knew Infinity starring Jeremy Irons, Dev Patel and Devika Bhise will be at the the Tribeca Film Festival 2016! Come see it.”

The film is a biopic on renowned mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan and is based on Robert Kanigel’s eponymous book. TMWKI follows the journey of Ramanujan (Patel), a poor self-taught Indian mathematician, from Madras to the prestigious Trinity College, Cambridge, where he becomes a pioneer in mathematical theories under the guidance of Professor G. H. Hardy (Jeremy Irons). The film also stars Stephen Fry and Toby Jones in pivotal roles.

An Edward R. Pressman/Animus Films production in association with Cayenne Pepper Productions, The Man Who Knew Infinity has been written and directed by Matthew Brown and is slated to release on April 29, 2016, in India, in English and Tamil.
