The news of ‘Kabir Singh’ still refuses to die even after it’s been 18 days since the film released. Among all the controversies surrounding the violence in the film vis a vis its director Sandeep Vanga, who is defending the film and its characters hammer and tongs, Shahid Kapoor-starrer ‘Kabir Singh’ has managed to garner approximately Rs 240 crore at the box office. Sharing this piece of news, celebrated film critic Taran Adarsh shared on Twitter, “‘Kabir Singh’ is a lottery. The film continues to surprise with solid trending on third Monday! It will cross lifetime business of ‘Simmba’ today (Tuesday) and inches closer to ‘Uri’. Total: ₹ 239.97 crore India business.” ‘Kabir Singh’ had released on June 21 and is Shahid’s mightiest film in terms of box office collection so far.
