Salman Khan Films-produced ‘Loveratri’ has landed in a controversy due to its twisted title. Reports suggest that the Indian Hindu nationalist organisation Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has accused that the film’s title is distorting a Hindu festival Navratri. It has also been alleged that the film’s title will hurt Hindu sentiments, and the VHP will protest by not allowing the film’s release across the country. ‘Loveratri’ will mark the debut of Salman’s brother-in-law Aayush Sharma and is set against the backdrop of Hindu festival Navratri. In the recent past, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmaavat’ had to undergo a title change due to protests.
