‘Gurave Namah’ is a new album with soul-stirring music compilation dedicated at her Guru’s Lotus Feet by renowned singer, composer & lyricist Meeta Shah. This gripping album was launched by Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshbhai at the Pravachan organised by Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur at Yogi Sabhagruh, Dadar (Mumbai).
The Guru, having dispelled his own inner darkness, seeks the same for his disciple and lovingly guides him to explore and attain that very bliss and tranquillity. Inspired by her Guru, Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshbhai, ‘Gurave Namah’ is the brainchild of Pune based, renowned artiste and aspirant, Meeta Shah. The album comprises nine moving tracks. It is an eclectic compilation ranging from Meerabai’s bhajans to Sufi renditions, from traditional music to fusion tunes.
In the album, Meeta Shah’s mellifluous singing finds perfect support in the voices of renowned Bollywood singers, Shankar Mahadevan, Roopkumar Rathod & Suresh Wadkar. The dynamic music bringing the songs alive has been composed by Meeta Shah herself along with Kailashbhai. The songs are arranged by talented musicians Kailash Mehta, Anand Kurhekar and Milind Gune. The album is launch by ‘Times Music’ is a feather in its cap, which is already resplendent with several spiritual releases.
Acclaimed flautist Ronu Majumdar, along with well known singer Anuradha Paudwal and Meeta Shah gave a heart-touching performance on the launch occasion. Also present at the event was Kaumudiben Munshi, who has trained Meeta Shah in music. The artistes received a token of appreciation as well as copies of ‘Gurave Namah’ from Pujya GurudevshriRakeshbhai. It was truly an enthralling experience for those who were present.
This CD is an expression of gratitude towards the benevolent Guru, an invitation to go within… a masterpiece you must hear to believe!
