Rani Mukerji is soaking up the sun in the literal sense as the actress shoots in the blistering summer heat of Rajasthan. Rani is stationed in the desert state for a month-long schedule of her thriller cop drama ‘Mardaani 2’ and has been shooting a chase sequence there. “The temperature in Kota is over 40 degree now and within a few days, it will cross 43.,” says a source straight from the sets. For ‘Mardaani 2’, the actress reprises her role of the fearless Superintendent of Police, Shivani Shivaji Roy. “Rani shot for a long chase sequence in this boiling heat and even insisted that we shoot it a couple of times to have variations,” adds the source. The film is expected to release this year itself.
