Beyond the box office, ‘Dhurandhar’ continues to make headlines for its gripping content. While the makers are working on releasing the sequel next month, R Madhavan recently revealed an interesting moment from the shoot of the December release.
Recalling the sequence that recreates the the night of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, Madhavan shared with Sonia Shenoy during YouTube chat, how the shoot affected the team. He stated that Akshaye Khanna and Arjun Rampal – whose characters were to celebrate the attack, broke down once the scene ended. “After that scene ended, they broke down completely. They cried uncontrollably. It wasn’t just acting for them. They have lived through those times. They have seen real incidents like that. It brought back memories. That’s when I realised this was a very special film,” shared Madhavan. ‘Dhurandhar 2’ will continue the narrative from the first part and is all set to hit the screens on March 19, in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
