After much buzz and controversy, the Shahid Kapoor starrer ‘O’Romeo’ hit the screens last week. The Vishal Bharadwaj directorial, which takes inspiration from Hussain Zaidi’s book Mafia Queens of Mumbai, traces the dark side of the underworld. With an opening figure of Rs 8.5 crore, ‘O’Romeo’ registered a decent weekend collections all week. On day 7, the film added Rs 3.1 crore to its total which stands at Rs 47.59 crore. Considering the present trend, ‘O’Romeo’ is expected to cross the 50 crore mark over the weekend.
Recently, Hrithik Roshan showered praise on the movie and shared on X, “The quirkiness of ‘O’Romeo’ eventually wins you over. I had fun. Shahid Kapoor, you do this genre best. Too good you are. Go watch it in the theatres, guys. Also, that running in circles action was brilliant.”
