‘Cricketers are busy with their pads so we needed cinema for PadMan’

Twinkle Khanna debuted as a solo producer with ‘PadMan’ starring her husband Akshay Kumar. In her own witty element at the film’s promotions, Twinkle spoke about the project, “Only two things work in this country, one is cricket and the other is cinema. Cricketers have their own pads and they are busy so we needed cinema for ‘PadMan’.” The actress-turned-producer is hopeful to change the mindset of people with this film which explores the importance of using sanitary napkins. The film releases on January 26 next year.
