Akshay Kumar was cheering for the Indian women’s cricket team as they took on England in the final face off in Women’s World Cup 2017 at Lords in London. The actor had shared an image of himself with the Indian flag on social media. However, he was holding the tricolor upside down. And while several users pointed out the mistake, Akki decided to delete the picture and apologize on Twitter. “Extending my sincerest apology for violating the code of conduct for the tricolour. Didn’t mean to offend anyone, the picture has been removed,” he wrote. Despite his busy schedule, Akshay ran barefoot to catch the train to Lords, just in time for the match.
