With all the controversy faced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali for ‘Padmavati’ in Rajasthan, leading lady Deepika Padukone made a secret trip to Chittorgarh to be on the safe side. Reports suggest that Deepika wanted to get a feel of her character of Rani Padmavati and hence she quietly undertook some research work there. The Bollywood actress apparently explored heritage structures and got ancient local feel of the place during her solo trip. ‘Padmavati’ also stars Shahid Kapoor as the King of Chittorgarh, Raja Rawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Mughal emperor Alauddin Khilji.
