It is a known fact that Sonakshi Sinha never wanted to become an actress, however she recently revealed the inspiration behind her Bollywood career. She says, “While growing up I never wanted to be an actor. I have not grown up watching films or shows. But there were two specific instances that touched me. I was in school when ‘Chak De! India’ had released, and after watching that film, for the first time I felt that I could do such roles. Other than that, I watched Madhuriji dancing in ‘Aaja Nachle’ and I was floored. I thought, if I have to dance, I will dance just like her! They were the inspiring moments for me.” Sonakshi debuted opposite Salman Khan in ‘Dabangg’ (2010) and the rest, as they say, is history.
