Aamir Khan broke his rule of not attending awards functions on Monday evening when he graced the 75th Master Dinanath Mangeshkar Awards. The actor was honored with Vishesh Puraskar for his film ‘Dangal’. In his thank you speech, Aamir Khan said, “This is a huge honor for Nitesh (Tiwari) and me. I would like to thank the Dinanath family for giving us and our film this respect. The love that ‘Dangal’ has received is because of Nitesh, he wrote a wonderful story and made this movie. My success is thanks to all those writers and directors whose films I have worked in.” Aamir Khan walked into an awards function after 16 long years.
