Shah Rukh Khan’s business partner and film producer Karim Morani has been booked in a rape case by the Hyderabad Police. The charge is that he allegedly raped a 25-year-old woman from Delhi. Reports coming out are that the lady has registered a case against the Bollywood filmmaker at the Hayath Nagar Police Station, stating that Karim Morani raped her at different locations in Mumbai and at a film studio in Hyderabad last year. The police have registered the case under IPC section 417 (cheating), section 376 (rape), section 342 (wrongful confinement), section 506 (criminal intimidation) and other relevant sections. Karim Morani’s spokesperson stated that that complaint was ‘false and bogus’, made with intention of tarnishing the filmmaker’s image. Karim Morani has produced films like ‘Chennai Express’ and ‘Dilwale’.
