Pakistani performing artistes Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan are banned from Bollywood and their films ‘Raees’ and ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ respectively too face stalling of release in the Indian territory. Thanks to the controversy, producer Ritesh Sidhwani has decided to replace Mahira in ‘Raees’, as it is not possible to shoot with her, states a report in a leading Mumbai daily. Mahira was roped in to play the lead opposite Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Raees’ and had even shot for many scenes. The makers are still hunting for a replacement. It is still unclear whether the release date would be affected by this as they will have to re shoot the sequences, which is time consuming.
