Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar’ sci-fi drama ‘2.0’ fetched some big numbers in its opening weekend but failed to cross the Rs 100 crore mark at the Hindi box office. The film opened with Rs 19.50 crore on Thursday and went on to maje 17.50 crore on Friday, Rs 24 crore on Saturday and another Rs 34 crore on Sunday. While ‘2.0’ managed to record massive increase in collection, it made a total of Rs 97.25 crore, just short of the Rs 100-crore mark. ‘2.0’ is expected to cross the coveted mark today, however the film will also face a real test in weekdays.
