Ranveer Singh is all set to play the celebrated Indian cricketer Kapil Dev, in Kabir Khan’s directorial ‘83’. The film will be Ranveer’s first venture to release in three languages, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. ‘83’ will feature the Indian cricket team’s heroic win of the World Cup in 1983. A team is currently training to ace the sport, before they gear up to face the camera. Ranveer has been training in cricket, dedicating a few hours to the sport every day. The director is yet to announce the rest of the squad for the film. ‘83’ is slated to hit the screens during the Good Friday weekend of 2020, on April 10.
