While the trend today is that of movies making records of Rs 100 and 200 crores in collection, Ritesh Deshmukh thinks otherwise. As his film ‘Bangistan’ gears up for release this week, the actor doesn’t have any Rs 100 crore jitters. Ritesh said, “Every film has different business dynamics and if ‘Bangistan’ does 100 crore business then it is great. But for any film to be a hit, that is not the barometer. The barometer is the budget of your film, the expenditure on publicity, what the investment is and what is the recovery. But these days, there are different mediums of recovery available. The budget of ‘Bangistan’ is not such that the film needs to reach Rs 100 crore mark.”
