Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt’s ‘jodi’ was much loved by the audiences in Shashank Khaitan’s ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’. The director is planning to get the pair back on board with a film which may have a similar title. Buzz is that Shashank Khaitan narrated the script to this young duo, who immediately jumped at the opportunity. Varun may play the role of a Shiv bhakt (devotee) in this film. If everything goes as planned, then Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt may start shooting for this yet untitled film in May this year, targeting a box office release during Republic week in 2017.
