Lissy and Priyadarshan announced their divorce after 14 years of marriage, in February this year. While the legal proceedings are on, speculations were that Lissy and Priyadarshan have reconciled and have also decided to remarry. However, refuting all the rumors, Lissy posted a clarification note on her official Facebook page stating that she will never get back with the filmmaker. “There has been constant yellow media speculation about the reasons I filed for divorce and whether myself and Mr Priyadarshan will be getting back together. Clear and straight answer to that is no and never. The reasons I filed for divorce are very clear to my children (who have been a great support), honorable courts and Mr Priyadarshan. Those reasons are absolutely irreversible. Only I know what I went through and for what reasons I had put up with it which I am not prepared to discuss or disclose,” reads her statement. Lissy further clarified that three months were remaining on their joint divorce petition and until then the domestic violence case against Priyadarshan was on hold.
