Aamir Khan began the trend of the Rs 100 crore club with ‘Ghajini’, which he successfully carried on with hits like ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘PK’ being the first Rs 200 and Rs 300 crore films respectively. His last release, ‘Dangal’ has collected Rs 346 crores in 17 days and is expected to be the first film to cross Rs 350 crore in its domestic collections. Industry buzz suggests that Aamir Khan’s upcoming project, ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ too will set a new record at the Box Office. While the film is yet to go on the floors, expectations are already high, what with two powerhouse performers in the form of Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan coming together.
