Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father Krishnaraj Rai passed away on Saturday. He was admitted at the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. Rai was 77. He was admitted to the Intensive Care unit of the hospital and had been on ventilator since a few days. Ash visited her father often through last week with husband Abhishek Bachchan too accompanying her most of the times. Amitabh Bachchan was also spotted last week at the Lilavati Hospital, making an exit late evening after visiting an ailing Krishnaraj Rai. He is survived by wife Vrinda, son Aditya Rai and daughter Ash. The death is said to be due to cancer relapse.
