Raveena Tandon is all set to turn a tough mother on the silver screen with her upcoming revenge drama ‘Maatr’. The actress urges more and more filmmakers to take up real subjects and highlight the difficult conditions of the society. “We should show the harsh reality in our films or else the public will always remain indifferent. They will feel that injustice happens in the villages and may turn a blind eye to all of that. But the filmmakers need to start making a difference and stop the audience from accepting things as they are,” says Raveena at the promotions of her film. Having done many successful commercial films in her heyday, Raveena seems to be focusing more on meaningful cinema now.
