Sanjay Leela Bhansali (SLB) has faced several obstacles with the making of ‘Padmavati’. This seems to have pushed the release of the film to a later date. His set in Rajasthan was vandalized badly when miscreants damaged the property and allegedly even slapped the filmmaker. Next on, when SLB was shooting in Kolhapur, more damage was done to costumes and jewelry of the period film reportedly. As a collective result ‘Padmavati’ is postponed, highly likely to 2018, from its scheduled date of November 2017. However, an official confirmation on the release is still awaited. The film stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.
