When the National awards were announced earlier this year, Akshay Kumar bagged the Best Actor for his performance in ‘Rustom’. Many questioned whether this was indeed the best performance of the year or not. Reacting to the controversy, Akshay said, “I have been seeing since the past 25 years, whenever anyone wins an award there is a debate on it. So it is nothing new for me. Every time someone or the other starts a controversy, this person shouldn’t win the award and that person is more deserving. I have received this award after 26 years in the industry. If you want then take it away from me!” Akki sure seems flustered with all the controversy surrounding his win.
