Akshay Kumar seems to have a new found interest in real life drama. After successful films like ‘Rustom’ and ‘Airlift’, the actor-producer has bought the rights of Raniganj Coalfield rescue mission which took place in 1989. JS Gill, Additional Chief Mining Engineer risked his life in the operation to rescue 64 miners trapped underground. A large hole was drilled on the surface and Gill went down the borehole in a rescue capsule to evacuate of the miners. Akki is set to play the rescue hero in this operation that will be made for the silver screen.
