Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth’s ‘2.0’ promotions have kick-started in a grand way. Putting into play a rather unique promotional strategy, a 100-foot-tall hot air balloon, featuring Rajini and Akki, is set flying over the iconic Hollywood signage in Los Angeles. There’s also ‘2.0’ world tour happening, which will include more unique marketing strategies. Sequel to the 2010 release ‘Enthiran’, the film was to initially release on October 18, during Diwali. But to avoid a clash with Ajay Devgn’s ‘Golmaal Again’, the release date is postponed. ‘2.0’ will now finally hit the screens on January 25, 2018.
