Sridevi-starrer ‘Mom’ opened to positive reviews but it could only garner Rs 3 crore on the opening day at the Box Office. However, over the weekend, the emotional drama recorded a huge growth, of around 65 percent. On Saturday, ‘Mom’ collected Rs 5 crore and a further increase on Sunday went on to Rs 6.25 crore. The Hindi version of ‘Mom’ has collected Rs 14.25 crore at the end of its first weekend. The Hindi version of the film was released on 1,260 screens across the country and further on 456 screens overseas.
