An excited Sidharth Malhotra had confirmed signing up for ‘Aashiqui 3’, while buzz suggested that he would romance his real life lady love Alia Bhatt in the film. However, this was a year ago. Sidharth and Alia have now got busy with their set of films, leaving no space for the romantic franchise to be produced by Alia’s father Mahesh Bhatt. Alia is busy with Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Raazi’, Ranbir Kapoor-starrer ‘Dragon’ and even has ‘Gully Boy’ with Ranveer Singh. Sidharth, on the other hand, is doing ‘A Gentleman’, which he is promoting right now, and will soon move on to doing ‘Ittefaq’.
