2017 has seen few blockbusters at the box office and Varun Dhawan describes the situation as a scary one. “Today, content is the star. This year, when films are not opening to numbers which we want to, it is scary,” says the ‘Judwaa 2’ star. Varun goes on to comment about the way reviews are perceived now, “These days, people are waiting for a review at the end of Friday. At times people who have not even watched the film comment about it. But if your film is not that good then it will not work.” Varun is awaiting his release ‘Judwaa 2’, which hits the screens on September 29.
