Veteran Bollywood actor Shashi Kapoor passed away at the age of 79 at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on Monday evening. Randhir Kapoor, nephew of Shashi Kapoor confirmed the sad demise of his uncle. Shashi Kapoor had kidney problems since long and was on dialysis. The ‘Deewar’ actor had been wheelchair-bound since years. The Kapoor family held the funeral today at the Santacruz crematorium in suburban Mumbai. Kapoor was born in 1938 and was the youngest among brothers Raj Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor and himself. His hit films include ‘Namak Halaal’, ‘Shaan’ and ‘Kabhi Kabhie’ to name a few.
