‘Padmavati’ is not just stuck without a release date, but several states have banned the film from hitting the theaters. Leading man in the film, Shahid Kapoor prefers to keep mum despite such happenings. “How do you talk to people who are talking about violence? You can’t talk to them. The best thing is to maintain a dignified silence. Hopefully everybody will stop allowing them to talk on every platform. We don’t constantly need to keep showing people threatening other people,” says Shahid. The film may hit the screens in January 2018 but confirmation is still awaited.
