Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Karan Johar had teamed up for ‘Kesari’, a film based on the Battle of Saragarhi. However, Sallu later on backed out of the project as co-producer. When asked about Salman’s association with the project, Akshay informs, “We couldn’t do it. So now Karan and I are making the film. I will begin shooting for ‘Kesari’ in January.” And as it was bound to happen, soon after he backed out of the film, rumors of a cold war between Sallu and Akki were rife which the latter quashed by attending the special screening of ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’.
