After humongous uproar, ‘Padmaavat’ finally hit the screens last week and made Rs 5 crore on the paid preview shows on Wednesday, followed by a long weekend collection of Rs 19 crore on Thursday, 32 crore on Friday and 27 crore on Saturday. With a mega total of Rs 83 crore and armed with favorably positive reviews, ‘Padmaavat’ is expected to cross the Rs 100 crore figure by this week. Despite being a two-hero film, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh are winning equal praise for their performances apart from Deepika Padukone, who plays queen Padmini.
