Shahid Kapoor is set to attend a special screening of his latest release, ‘Padmaavat’, in Singapore, which is reportedly organised by an NGO. While the film continues to win accolades back home, it has left Shahid with life lessons, “We had to make a lot of sacrifices. We had to learn to control our emotions, be patient, be diplomatic and politically correct. We had to keep our strong emotions in our heart because we had faced so much of controversy for a film which hadn’t even been allowed to show itself. But now that it has released, we feel happy, thankful and vindicated.”
