Shahid Kapoor, who was shooting for ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ since last month in Dehradun, has cut the schedule short due to viral infection. Wife Mira and daughter Misha, who had joined him at the shoot of ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ recently, returned to Mumbai last evening with Shahid in tow. The actor was shooting for a courtroom scene earlier this week and had complained about sore throat and uneasiness. “Shahid was feeling unwell, but continued with the shoot nonetheless. His sore throat got aggravated as he had to deliver a dialogue in a high pitch. By Tuesday, he was down with high fever. Shahid insisted on resuming the shoot after a day’s rest. However, when his health further deteriorated on Wednesday, the producers compelled him to fly back to Mumbai and take adequate rest,” informs a source. The next schedule of ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ is slated for the first week of April.
