Shahid Kapoor and Imtiaz Ali were to reunite after a decade for another love story that was scheduled to kick off in April in Mumbai. It was eventually decided that the film would be shot through July and August as Shahid is currently busy with Shree Narayan Singh’s social-drama ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ in Tehri, Uttarakhand. The actor had already blocked his dates for Imtiaz’s film, which would have begun soon after wrapping up ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’. However, a source informs, “Shahid and Imtiaz may return to this project next year or maybe later.” The director’s spokesperson confirms, “Imtiaz hasn’t made an official announcement about his next film or its cast. When he is ready to do so, he will make the announcement.” Shahid has now started reading other scripts.
