Sidharth Malhotra is reeling from a series of box office flops – ‘Baar Baar Dekho’, ‘A Gentleman’, ‘Ittefaq’ and ‘Aiyaary’. However it seems like mentor Karan Johar, who launched him with ‘Student of The Year’ in 2010 has come to his rescue. KJo recently announced a film on Kargil war hero Vikram Batra, with Sidharth playing the lead role of Sher Shah Vikram Batra. The filmmaker described the flick as ‘The true story of bravery and patriotism – the chronicles of Kargil war hero Vikram Batra’. It must be noted here that Sidharth’s last hit, ‘Kapoor & Sons’, was a Dharma Production.
