Shahid Kapoor starrer ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ had been stalled over financial issues after a successful first schedule earlier this year. However, the team will resume shoot today in Mumbai with Bhushan Kumar being the principal producer of the project while Prernaa Arora and Arjun Kapoor’s KriArj Entertainment making a hasty exit. Reports also state that KriArj Entertainment is no longer the producer of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao-starrer ‘Fanne Khan’. Bhushan Kumar and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra are backing the film now so that the project doesn’t go in doldrums due to financial crunch.
