Janhvi Kapoor faced the media for the first time as she attended the trailer launch of her debut film ‘Dhadak’, which is a Hindi remake of the hit Marathi movie ‘Sairat’. The aspiring actress was aptly supported by family as Boney Kapoor attended the event. It was then obvious that she would speak about her mother, late actress Sridevi, “I definitely miss her today. I had seen ‘Sairat’ with mom at home and had told her, I wish this was my first film or something like this. Mom and I then had a big discussion about how even she wanted a similar role for my launch. And then Karan sir called me and this film happened.” Karan Johar is the producer of the film, which is directed by Shashank Khaitan.
