Ranbir Kapoor-starrer, biopic of Sanjay Dutt, titled ‘Sanju’, has landed in controversy. Activist Prithvi Mhaske of the Sangharsh Foundation has complained to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) that the toilet leakage scene shown in the film’s trailer will give a bad impression of the Indian jails conditions and authorities. The letter, which has been addressed to the censor chief Prasoon Joshi, demands proof if Sanjay Dutt indeed faced such a situation. Prithvi Mhaske has further asked to delete the particular scene and if no such action is taken then they will approach the court for a stay on the film’s release.
