Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been reportedly approached to play a part in Ranveer Singh’s next, ‘83’. The film is based on India’s Cricket World Cup victory of 1983 and Nawaz may essay the role of the coach of the winning team. While Ranveer has been roped in to play Kapil Dev, casting for other roles is on. Director Kabir Khan has worked with Nawaz in ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and is actively in talks to rope in the actor for the film. The team is scheduled to begin shooting for ‘83’ towards the end of this year, with August 2019 in site for release.
