Akshay Kumar’s ‘Gold’ trailer has left everyone wanting for more. The actor will not portray a hockey player in the film, rather the Indian Hockey team’s manager. The sports drama will see Kunal Kapoor as the coach of the team with Amit Sadh, Vineet Singh and Sunny Kaushal as the players among others. Directed by Reema Kagti, ‘Gold’ will release in theatres this Independence Day, which will also mark 70 years of Free India’s first Gold medal. ‘Gold’ will also mark the Bollywood debut of popular TV actress Mouni Roy. She will essay the role of Akki’s wife in the patriotic saga.
