Shah Rukh Khan’s production house, Red Chillies, is all set to bankroll a web show for popular streaming site Netflix. The series is titled ‘The Bard of Blood’ and is based on a book by the same name. Emraan Hashmi will essay lead role of Kabir Anand in the Netflix Original Indian show. Emraan will play an ex-spy who returns to India as a professor, intellectually managing several situations. The streaming site had a great success with their last show, ‘Sacred Games’, starring Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The web giant is now hoping to recreate the success with Red Chillies backing the show.
