Katrina Kaif’s last minute entry in Salman Khan-starrer ‘Bharat’ saved the film after Priyanka Chopra decided to walk out of the project just weeks before shooting. Speaking about how ‘Bharat’ landed in her kitty, Katrina says, “Ali Abbas Zafar is very dear friend of mine. We have worked together in ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and both the films were extremely successful. Ali contacted me, sent me the script and told me to share my thoughts. The story is absolutely wonderful and I completely love the character I play.” Salman had recently announced to the world that her leading lady in ‘Bharat’ will be Katrina Kaif.
