Emraan Hashmi is all set to play a detective on the silver screen in his upcoming film, which is titled ‘Father’s Day’. The film is an emotional father-son story, inspired from the life of detective Suryakant Vishnu Bhande-Patil, who solves child kidnapping cases. ‘Father’s Day’ will adapt the story of a Gujarati book Drishyam Adrishyam written by Gujarati author Praful Shah, while featuring the story of detective Suryakant Vishnu. While Emraan will play the lead, child artistes too will be cast in the film, which will be directed by ad filmmaker Shantanu Bagchi. Emraan is currently shooting for his home production project ‘Cheat India’.
