Uri: The Surgical Strike’ is busy conquering big numbers at the box office, grossing over Rs 50 crore in just five days of its release. Producer Ronnie Screwvala’s production house RSVP announced a donation of Rs 1 crore to a welfare fund for Indian Army widows on Army Day, falling on January 15. ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ evoked a feeling of patriotism as the film is based on the real life incident of the Indian Army’s recent surgical strike. The action drama is made on a low budget and has emerged as one of the biggest solo hits of Vicky Kaushal’s career.
