Sanjay Dutt’s bitter tryst with drugs was widely explored in his biopic ‘Sanju’. He managed to break free from the addiction in real life and hence the actor has now announced his support to a campaign to fight the abuse. The ‘Munnabhai MBBS’ actor expressed his support to spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s #DrugFreeIndia campaign. “I always wanted to do something to uproot drug addiction from India. The #DrugFreeIndia campaign is a step towards that! Because of my personal experiences, it’s a cause very close to my heart and I want to help the youth of our country,” shares Dutt. His father Sunil Dutt sent him in the rehab in the US to come out of the menace.
